Ideally located in a 10-hectare estate, in the heart of the Périgord, just 30 minutes from Bergerac airport and one hour from Bordeaux, the Château de Monciaux (18th century) and its four cottages offer you an unforgettable experience. Nestled in a bucolic and green setting, our cottage is designed to accommodate 6 to 8 people, offering the perfect balance between modern comfort and traditional charm.

The Lascaux Cottage: Comfort and Elegance

Our 120 m² cottage consists of three spacious bedrooms, including a master suite, two bathrooms and two toilets, to guarantee the comfort and privacy of all its occupants.

• Master suite : Located on the 1st floor, it has a king-size bed and a private bathroom and WC, offering an intimate and refined space.
• Additional bedrooms : Two bedrooms on the ground floor, each equipped with two single beds that can be adjusted according to your needs. A convertible sofa can also accommodate 2 additional guests if necessary.
• Common areas : The warm living room, with its wood-burning stove, invites you to relax, while the dining area allows you to enjoy friendly moments. The fully equipped kitchen (fridge, hotplates, oven, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.) meets all your needs to prepare delicious meals.

Outdoor Spaces and Amenities

Outside, the cottage offers a private terrace ideally exposed, equipped with garden furniture and a charcoal barbecue for al fresco meals. You will also enjoy access to a shared swimming pool and a rustic tennis court, in its authentic "juice", for moments of leisure in complete serenity.

The thickness of the house's walls guarantees pleasant coolness in summer and comforting warmth in winter, ensuring you optimal comfort all year round.

Services and Options

• Heating : A “heating costs” package is included in your rate (€35/day) for thermal comfort during your stay.
• Bed and bath linen : Luxurious quality bed and bath linen is optional. Our teams prepare your beds with care:
  • Bed linen: €15 per single bed, €30 per double bed
  • Toiletries: €10 per person
• Travel cots : Two travel cots are available on request for families with babies.

The Château de Monciaux Estate: An Exceptional Setting

The Château de Monciaux is located near Bourrou, on the road to Manzac-sur-Vern. This green and peaceful setting is perfect for a stay combining relaxation and cultural discoveries. The region is renowned for its historical heritage (castles and medieval towns), prehistoric heritage (caves and shelters), as well as its gastronomy, with specialities such as truffles, foie gras and wines. The weekly organic market in Bourrou and the shops in Villamblard (6 km) will add to the richness of your experience.

Hiking trails also leave directly from the hamlet, for moments of relaxation surrounded by nature.

Before your stay, we will contact you to provide you with all the necessary information and put you in touch with the person in charge of your stay, available to answer your questions.

Please note :

• Swimming pool : It is open from May 1st to September 30th, with the possibility of opening before or after these dates, depending on weather conditions. Pool towels are not provided.
• Tennis : Rackets are not provided.
• Fireplace : We do not provide wood for the fireplace, but we can put you in touch with a lumberjack for delivery.
